"Buzz", pencil, 2017, 11" x 12.5" My beloved pet, named after Buzz Aldrin the astronaut who as he piloted the lunar lander to the surface of the moon remarked, "Kicking up some dust".  I thought it fitting that an occasionally rambunctious cat running through unused corners of the house should have the same name.

Untitled, oil, 2016, 24" x 20", $900 After I had finished with this painting I read "The Spotted Sphinx" by Joy Adamson of "Born Free" fame depicting her raising an orphaned female cheetah.  Her depiction of bonding with this cat was emotional which corresponded to my beliefs about Cheetahs in particular.
